Cultures Vanier – Cultural Citizen Forum

Rich in heritage, culture and creativity, Vanier is at a key moment in its cultural and socio-economic history. With the revitalization of Montreal Road, our culture and creativity is at the heart of this revitalization. What if, arts and culture were a catalyst for growth? Culture and creativity have been critical vectors for the revitalization of some of the most innovative neighbourhoods, the Distillery District in Toronto, Saint-Henri Faubourg in Montreal. Like this neighbourhood, Vanier offers a lot of growth opportunities because of its culture and its arts. This is our time to discover how Vanier’s heritage and diversity can help our community become an Ottawa arts and culture district.

At every point in Vanier’s history, its residents have been at the forefront of change. Let’s prepare for our future together. To do so, the Vanier Community Association invites residents to play an important and active role in redefining our cultural landscape. Join us and share your ideas and dreams for our community. Your comments will be gathered and used to develop the Vanier Cultural Strategy. Join us on May 25^th, June 15^th, and June 29^th from 6 to 8 p.m. to discuss, dream and propose your ideas. Your comments will be gathered and will result in a new Vanier Culture Plan.
