Get a free native tree from local volunteer-driven NGO @EcologyOttawa Saturday, July 17, from 11am-1pm at the Vanier Community Hub event at the parking lot of 271 Marier Avenue, Vanier!
The Vanier Community Association, its Beautification Committee, and Vanier BIA are proud to partner with @EcologyOttawa by hosting a free native local tree distribution booth!
With a goal of distributing 15,000 trees this year and beating the 2019 record of 12,000, Ecology Ottawa is working to replenish the Ottawa region’s urban canopy through community involvement. Giving away trees is about more than just putting plants into the ground; this is about nurturing an inter-generational, all-inclusive community that wants to build a greener future together.

Note: you will have to complete this quick mandatory pre-participation survey (not a pre-order form!) that all tree recipients must complete in order to opt-in to Ecology Ottawa’s Tree Program Will help Ecology Ottawa to prepare a proportional amount of trees for the event.
