Mois de la Francophonie!

The Francophone Committee of the Vanier Community Association wishes all Francophones and Francophiles a wonderful Francophonie Month! In March, celebrations take place all over the world.

Here in Ottawa, for the past 24 years, Les Rendez-vous de la Francophonie (rvf.ca) has been inviting all Canadians to their site, regardless of their sphere of activity. You will find an inventory of all the activities and festivities that will take place in Canada in March.

Some countries and organizations dedicate their programming to a Semaine de la Francophonie. This is the case of the Association canadienne d’éducation de langue française (ACELF) and its site offers many educational activities in addition to contests from March 12 to 20, 2022.

The United Nations has designated March 20 as the International Day of La Francophonie and French Language Day.

The Vanier Francophonie Committee hopes to be able to host the first FRANCO Cinq à sept this year very soon.
