Salvation Army: “Consulting” but not listening

The Vanier Community Association has a seat at the table of the Salvation Army Advisory Committee. We have been wholly unimpressed and frustrated by the way the Salvation Army has sought to run this group from the outset. We welcome the engagement of our elected officials on this important issue on behalf of Vanier residents, who resoundingly have told us they do not support this project and understand that the mega-shelter model is deeply flawed and outdated.
