Vanier, Ottawa – The Vanier Community Association (VCA), in collaboration with the Vanier Community Service Centre (CSC Vanier), will officially unveil the first-ever Community Electronic Message Board (CEB) in Vanier.
Come celebrate with us the launch of the CEB on Tuesday, September 24 from 3 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., northeast corner of Montreal Road and the Vanier Parkway.
The Vanier Community Association in collaboration with the Vanier Community Service Centre, will officially unveil the first-ever Community Electronic Message Board (CEB) in Vanier.
The VCA would like to extend its sincere thanks to the Vanier CSC for assuming the management of the CEB and the City of Ottawa for their partnership.
The concept of the CEB was proposed by two Vanier residents, Suzanne Lépine and Diane Irwin, and was later integrated into the City of Ottawa’s Montreal Road Revitalization project.
The bulletin board will serve as a showcase for community groups and organizations that wish to promote their activities. The VCA and the Vanier CSC are delighted with this initiative, which will contribute to the neighbourhood’s influence and foster a sense of belonging among residents.
“Vanier’s residents have long wanted a bulletin board that informs them about events and activities taking place in their neighbourhood. In this way, the CEB will facilitate access to information for residents. – Suzanne Lépine, member of the Vanier Community Association.
The Vanier Community Service Centre manages the CEB and for posting requests, please contact them via an email at bec.ceb@cscvanier.com.
